Finally, we’re getting to the heart of the comic. I’ve been playing around with some new coloring techniques, so if you have any comments, criticisms and/or suggestions, please feel free to post a note. Although I haven’t officially put up a privacy notice, here is the short of it: “I don’t sell people’s information.” Other than the Google AdSense/Analytics, your information is private. I have no intention of EVER selling your name, e-mail address or any other information you give to anyone. I hate that crap and there’s no way I will ever willingly be a part of it. So if your concerned about registering as a member, understand that while I’d like for this comic to pay for itself, I’m not looking to get rich off of it.
With that said, let’s talk about the comic.
The balding gentleman is Chief of Facilities Maintenance, Charles Wilkenson. His job is to keep TIA1 running. All maintenance sections report to him. Although he’s currently an administrative person, he started out as a maintenance engineer, something he still enjoys doing when he finds the time.
The other person is Imperial Senator Jonathan DeMartelle. Each of the TIA installations is controlled by a governing board. The board of TIA1 has enjoyed having the good senator as the executive director for the last thirty five years. Nothing happens in TIA1 that he doesn’t know about—or so he thinks. We’ll see and learn more about his as the story unfolds.
