Since I didn’t get this weeks comic done (and won’t finish it tonight), I thought I’d toss this out there.
My original idea for Hazel was based on the character from IC-Stories.com that I tossed in for a distraction to change up some stuff in the story. In IC, Hazel is a squirrel and I had intended to keep her as a squirrel when I thought up Imperial GELF, but the tail—I just couldn’t figure out how you were going to manage to do what she does with that HUGE fricken tail!!!
So as an apology for not posting a comic, I’m tossing up the character sheet that was originally done for Hazel as a squirrel. Enjoy!
And named after a Heinlein character.
I’m a big Heinlein fan. First book I read of his was The Moon is a Harsh Mistress when I was 12 and have been hooked on him ever since.
Very cute.
Wow…but how cool would it have been for her to be a cute little squirrel AND be a combat model!
Yes, but over in I.C., she is rather a problem for Zig
Zag. Ms.ZZ is really having aproblem with her not quite underage neighbor. She is an interesting sub-plot. And she is really cute!
Wolfpax: Yeah, I really wanted to use the Squirrel, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around her having that tail for various reasons. Just wouldn’t make sense, especially on a weapon.
Colonel: Yeah, once that squirrel got in my head, I couldn’t get her out! Damned attention rodent!
Don’t real squirrels easily manage to, i don’t know, play Tarzan with their tail ?
